I did not grow up in a Christian home. Before coming to Christ, I had been caught up in New Age thinking, Eastern philosophy, manifestation, meditation, and a lifestyle that left me empty.

I am a Christian from New Zealand, and Life Being Free exists to encourage young men who are searching for truth, fighting old habits, and trying to take God seriously.

My background
I was searching for truth in all the wrong places.
I was also deep into conspiracy theories, trying to figure out what was really going on in the world. I was searching for truth, but I did not yet know the One who is truth.
Before God changed my life, I was chasing the same things a lot of young men chase: partying, drugs, drinking, women, pleasure, and the approval of the world.

But God pulled me out of that.
My name is Bryce. I have been a Christian for around five years, and I was baptized in April 2021. Before God changed my life, I had no real direction, no strong purpose, and no understanding of what it meant to truly walk with God.
Life Being Free was started because I wanted to become more active in my faith. Not just someone who hears the Word, but someone who actually tries to live it out.
John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Why this exists
For the younger version of myself.
I wanted to share the wisdom, lessons, encouragement, and conviction that God has given me with other men who may be walking through similar struggles.
I am not pretending to have everything figured out. I am just a Christian guy trying to follow God seriously, grow in discipline, and encourage other men to do the same.

Life Being Free
Real freedom comes from knowing the truth.
The name Life Being Free comes from John 8:32. Real freedom does not come from doing whatever you want. It comes from knowing the truth, walking with God, and being set free from sin.
